Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (217) 363-3735. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pos.chowbus.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We got double cooked pork belly, chicken wing dry pot and eggplant, potatoes, and pepper. Everything was delicious.

Fantastic food and great service. We had a wonderful dinner here. The staff was attentive and helped us navigate the menu to find the right spice level. The Sichuan Boiled Fish was super fresh and fragrant. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a group gathering. Highly recommend if you want high-quality Chinese food!

mapo tofu was absolutely fantastic—quite literally the best mapo tofu I’ve ever had. the wontons did not in fact come in a spicy sauce (just a drizzle of chili oil). they’d be better if they were swimming in sauce as advertised!
